Bridal Hair & Makeup Consultations
Yes I am still conducting trials at home home, in accordance with Covid safety plan and regulations in place as set out below;
*Important COVID 19 INFORMATION*
-All brides visiting my home will need to check in using the NSW Health Covid Safe App and sanitise their hands upon entry and exit, and throughout your appointment. Hand sanitizer is provided for your use.
-My studio space is in my home and is a small space. All brides are to attend their trial by themselves. No exceptions.
-If you have been to a hotspot, show any symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone you must notify immediately to postpone your trial, even if its the morning of your appointment.
– I will wear a mask and use disposable implements where possible. You may be required to wear a mask throughout your hair service. The studio is fully sanitised in between every service and there is only one bride per day visiting my home.
-Where a trial may not become possible before the day, I will provide you with a 30 minute skype consultation so we can go over the day , your needs and how to best prepare your hair and skin. This consultation fee is $40 and replaces your face to face trial cost. It will be included on your final invoice.
TRIAL INFORMATION
I like to call a ‘trial’ a ‘consultation’. Because that’s exactly what my service provides. By definition, a ‘trial’ is a ‘test’. I believe, that my time with you is not about testing my skill, it’s about bringing elements of your wedding day together, so I can create an amazing look that will enhance your features, but also match your overall style and look. Spending a good amount of quality time with my brides allows me to get to know you, to ask all the appropriate questions to get the most out of our consult time and for you to walk away 100% confident that your look on the wedding day will be unique, will be suited to you personally, and will have everyone talking about how incredible and glowing you were!
Consults are not a mobile service as I need 110% of my kit to be able to accommodate to every single need and wish. I have hair extensions, veils, headpieces etc here to play with to help you visualise every detail to give you the best overall experience.
When we meet, you are welcomed into my home studio, just 15 mins south of Wollongong. Prior to your appointment time, you will be sent information on how to properly prepare your hair and skin so you can get the most out of our time together. Minimal changes may be made within the booked time frame ( i.e a lip colour) Following our time together, you will receive a recap of any information we have discussed, as well as a collection of images so you can be confident your look will photograph to perfection.
Trial Consultation Fee
Please note, consultations are only available to current confirmed brides who have already secured their date with me.
Makeup Consultation $150 – 1.5 hours
Hair Consultation $150 -1.5 hours
This time frame includes one hair or makeup style with minimal changes
( i.e lip colour).
If you are unsure of the style you would like and require a longer consultation to try two different styles, once your initial 1.5hr appointment time is completed, a $50 per 1/2 hr fee applies. Subject to time availability on the day if not booked in prior.
Consultation Availability
Monday- Wednesday, 10am or 10:30am appointment time.
Due to an overwhelming demand for weekend weddings, I do not offer weekend consult dates. All consults will take place Monday- Wednesday at 10am or 10:30am. It is important you wear your makeup style for at least a few hours to see wear on the skin as this gives me the best chance to be able to make minor tweaks on the day to give you the best service possible. It is also best to complete your trial in natural light therefore evening appointments are not advisable.
Products Available
A range of Melli Cosmetics Lipstick and lipgloss are always available, whether that be on the trial or on the wedding day. Pre ordering a lipstick or gloss for your bridesmaids is a lovely gift idea, and watch the girls have fun choosing a colour they love and that suits them!
Clip in hair extensions: I recommended 16″ Hair Extensions if you want great volume without too much length. Try Eden, Zala and Showpony Hair extensions. Please bring your extensions to your trial.
My Guarantee
For some brides, they don’t have a clear vision of what they are after, and that’s fine too. It may happen that our trial time together is working out what you DO want. In this case, you may not leave with the exact style we will do on the wedding day and that’s fine too!
I am dedicated to work with you to achieve your overall vision for your wedding day. However, if you have a trial and you are simply not happy with my service, a complimentary re- trial may be booked in on a different day. I simply ask that if you are not 100% happy with the outcome, once I have taken photos of the look for our records, that all makeup is removed and hair taken out prior to leaving the studio. You are most welcome to wear the look once we have gotten it just right for you!
Second Trial
Its very rare a second trial is needed, as minor things can be tweaked on the wedding day, however if you have a change of heart of the style you wish to go for, you may wish to have a second trial and that’s fine too! A reduced rate of $120 applies per style whether it be hair or makeup and is a 1 hour appointment time.
