I really enjoy being a Bowral makeup artist.
It’s only an hour zip up Macquarie Pass and I’m there, the gorgeous scenery never gets old as I watch the seasons change with every drive through. My favourite time would have to be the Autumn. Where early morning fog sets in, and then lifts to expose the most beautiful sunlit day. You’ll find warmth in the sunshine, and everything is so colourful. Watch as the leaves turn from green to red to yellow, to green again in the spring time. No wonder Bowral is such a popular destination for weddings.
Recently I had the pleasure of being Rachel’s makeup artist for her wedding day, held at the picturesque Milton Park Estate.
It was a classic Autumn day. And as I drove up Milton Park’s driveway, a frosty 3 degrees read on the dashboard. But it soon warmed up to a balmy 13 degrees (!) but it didn’t matter- the sun was shining and the day was perfect.
The day was captured by my husband, and Bowral wedding photographer, Gavin Cato Photography.
Gavin uses his awesome camera skills ( and drone!!) to get some of the best autumn shots I’ve ever seen!
